We are proud to announce that New Digimatic has taken a major step toward environmental sustainability this year through the installation of a 20 KWh photovoltaic system. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to meet most of the company's energy needs, marking a significant milestone in our efforts to reduce our company's carbon footprint.
At a time when climate change and pollution are increasingly pressing issues, it is essential that companies, together with institutions and civil society, take an increasingly active role in promoting green solutions.
The UN itself has set out a detailed plan of action to put the world on the road to sustainability through 17 Sustainable Development Goals: one of which aims to push companies to accelerate the integration of ESG(Environmental, Social, Governance) elements into their business. While the Goal is designed particularly for Multinationals, which for obvious reasons have a greater impact on the environment, small and medium-sized enterprises are not exempt from making their contribution either.
New Digimatic, for this very reason, has therefore decided to take this path to contribute, in its own small way, to the preservation of our planet.
A key aspect of our project is the support we received from the Rome Chamber of Commerce. Thanks to the Energy Transition Voucher, we were able to partially finance the installation of our system. The Chamber of Commerce's commitment to promoting the transition to renewable energy sources with this Voucher is a tangible sign of how institutions and businesses can work together for a greener and more sustainable future.
Our commitment to environmental sustainability does not stop here. We will continue to invest in green technologies and promote sustainable practices within our company, with the goal of becoming a virtuous example in our industry.
