Description

The VIN338BSC is a highly integrated board that interfaces DVI and RGB video inputs in virtually any format to a display.

The VIN338BSC features the latest generation of image processor with internal HDMI, a 10-bit ADC, a video decoder and an external memory interface to support more advanced windowing capabilities and high-resolution displays.

Features include full 10-bit data processing, high quality motion-adaptive deinterlacing up to 1080i with advanced low angle processing, frame-rate conversion, Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Picture-off-Picture (POP), and advanced high quality scaling

Computer, VGA to WUXGA (1920X1200), video images can be scaled to fit a target display device with any resolution, up to WUXGA.

The optimisation circuit creates sharp and clear images, centred on the screen, without user intervention.

The VIN338BSC supports NTSC or PAL RGB - Y/Cb video data, Cr with a 4:3 aspect ratio, and sources with a 16:9 aspect ratio, such as DVD or HDTV.

VIN338 integrates YUV to RGB conversion and de-interlacing; it also includes a PWM output for backlight control.

The VIN338BSC includes a light sensor for automatic backlight control and a temperature sensor for programmable fan control.

The DVI input is compatible with HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection).
